GUN BASH – March 23rd

 

Almost here folks!  Held once again at the Richland Volunteer Fire Dept. on Meridian Rd.  -  Noon to 6:00

Keep putting the word out and keep selling those tickets!  Tickets: $40 each (Guest:  $20)  TWO CHANCES TO WIN on each ticket - 15 gun drawings and six cash drawings – ONLY 500 tickets being sold!  Once again, LOTS of good stuff planned for this event.  PLEASE consider getting INVOLVED in the planning and preparations for this big club event.  Setup will take place the day before - March 22nd - and prior to event start.   (Time counts towards Active Member status!)

IMPORTANT:  If you have any unsold tickets please let Jeff Carella know ASAP!

ALL TICKETS MUST BE TURNED IN BY MARCH 11TH!

 

We also are seeking donated items for use as door prizes, raffle items, etc.  NEW items like; sporting goods, garden tools, etc.   If you as a member, as a business owner, or if you know a business owner who would like to DONATE any new item... Such is greatly welcomed.  A business name can be placed on an advertising card with the donated item(s).  Letters acknowledging receipt of the donation to the club are available at the clubhouse or by contacting us at: info@richlandsportsmentsclub.org   (No cash donations please.)

Yearly dues are now PAST DUE - a late fee will be assessed to your required payment.

IMPORTANT

As noted during January’s general meeting, due to health-related issues, Dave Lewis has stepped-down as Club Vice President. Upon subsequent approval by the Club’s Board of Directors, Brian Krause will step out of his current role as a Board Director and into the role of Club Vice President.  Dave will remain on the Board as a Director.   Both the V.P. and Director position are up for election in December 2019.

Hoagie Sales!!!

Hoagie sales went well last month – as did once again the reviews for the quality / taste / amt. of meat on the hoagies so… Don’t miss out on your chance to get in a (hopefully large) order in Feb.  Orders need to be in by the 15th, the Friday after the gen. mtg. and then hoagies are to be picked-up the following Wed. (the 20th) – around 6:45 / 7:00 at the club – Please place your orders with Adrian Halterlein: 412-716-7125 / aph108@verizon.net   

And please pay for your orders in a timely manner.

ACTIVITIES

 

  • Jr. Rifle continues!  The program will run every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month until its summertime break. Thank you to Bill Rushmore for once again managing this program.

  • Jr. Archery plus Members and non-members are welcome to join Mr. Paul (Ferrari) for an enjoyable youth archery program.  Weekly sessions are every Tues. 6-8pm for the duration of the program.  Paul would also like to extend an invitation to adult members and non-members to join him in his NEW adult archery training offering.  Paul will be available for an hour on Wednesday evenings 7:00 – so as to teach and develop archery skills in beginners.  Please just show up at the club or (better to) contact Paul if interested.  phferrarijr@gmail.com  /   412-720-9310
  • Card Nite continues as normal – every Thursday evening, 7:00
  • Trap at the farm resumed in January!  (Actually , the weather caused the cancellation of January’s shoot.)   WINNERS from last year’s shoots… Bobby Foster – Top Jr.  /  Liz Mock – Top Female  /  John Breitenbach - 3rd Place Male Brian Krause - 2nd Place Male  /  Ron Mock - 1st Place Male       CONGRATULATIONS to the top, and all shooters!

Walk-ins welcome for each activity.  And remember to please submit your $2 fee
